Selection of Roles in DBS Catering

Waiters/Servers & Catering Assistants

Responsibilities include:

Meeting, greet and serve our amazing customers, ensuring an exceptional experience. leaving guests craving more. You will shine in our fast-paced environment, multitasking front-of-the-house duties. Collecting the bill and ensuring customer satisfaction is the cherry on top.

Housekeeping & Domestic Assistants

Responsibilities include:

Housekeepers clean and tidy up hotel rooms, hallways, elevators, lobbies, common areas, fitness and business centers, and restaurants.

Dust and polish various surfaces and furniture. Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors. Empty trash bins. Change linens and towels and replace toiletries.

Night Porter takes care of guests overnight, serving a light room service menu and any drinks required alongside cleaning tasks.

Baristas &

Bartenders

Responsibilities include:

Bartenders include preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and guests. Interacting with customers, taking orders and serving snacks and drinks. Assessing bar customers' needs and preferences and making recommendations.

Hospital Porters &

Ward Host

Responsibilities include:

Hospital Porters move patients on trolleys or in wheelchairs between wards and departments.

deliver clean linen to wards,

collect waste, some of which may be hazardous, move furniture and medical equipment safely & deal with post and parcels

transfer files, specimen samples

and pharmacy boxes to different parts of the hospital & move deceased patients to the mortuary

Responsibilities include:

Ward Hostess

Responsibilities include:

Ward Host/Hostess will Replenish patients’ water jugs three times a day to ensure good hydration, provide patients with hot and cold beverages throughout the day.

Collating patients’ menu choices & preparing patients’ trays for meal service, Adhering to the red tray system when appropriate.

Serving patients meals as designated times and a knowledge of patients dietary needs, Recording food temperatures at ward level.

Delivering snacks to appropriate patients and washing up of all patients’ crockery & disposing of waste appropriately and have a high standard of hygiene at all times
