Due to our client's success, they are looking for a strong, fresh-food-passionate chef de partie. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys working with fresh, quality ingredients in a welcoming, food-led environment, without the demands of a traditional late-night restaurant kitchen.
Our client's business offers a varied food operation, with breakfast, lunch, seasonal dishes and freshly prepared deli favourites. They take pride in quality, consistency and creating great food using local and national suppliers.
The Role
Working as part of a small, dedicated kitchen team, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking fresh dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Taking responsibility for your section and ensuring smooth service.
- Supporting breakfast and lunch service.
- Preparing homemade soups, salads, light meals and seasonal specials.
- Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and food safety.
- Managing stock, minimising waste and ensuring ingredients are stored correctly.
- Contributing ideas for menus and daily specials.
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
