As Chef de Partie you will be working as part of a talented kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard, whilst helping to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen during busy services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a high standard
- Taking responsibility for your section during service
- Supporting with menu development and new dishes
- Assisting with the training and development of more junior chefs
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards
- Ensuring your section is organised, clean and ready for service
- Working closely with the wider kitchen team to deliver a consistently high-quality food offering
- Maintaining standards during busy periods and supporting the team wherever required
We are looking for a Chef de Partie with previous experience within a quality Hotel, restaurant or similar high end hospitality environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an experienced Commis Chef ready for the next step
- Good all-round kitchen skills
- A genuine passion for food and high standards
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A relevant culinary qualification would be advantageous but is not essential
