Preferred Requirements:
- Proven experience in fresh produce buying and selling, with a strong understanding of grower and customer relationships
- Expertise in managing stock levels, conducting daily quality checks, and coordinating goods in and order placement
- Ability to identify new suppliers and prospects, ensuring a diverse and competitive supply chain
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with growers, agents, and customers
- Passion for delivering high-quality produce and exceeding customer expectations
- Relevant experience in the fresh produce trading industry, with a deep understanding of the market dynamics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise stock management and drive operational efficiency
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, early-morning environment, with the ability to provide weekend cover when required
- Salary £35,000 to £55,000 OTE
