Our client, a stunning events venue located near Fareham, Hampshire, is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Events Operations Supervisor to join their team.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong events experience and supervisory skills to play a key role in delivering exceptional weddings, corporate events and member functions within a beautiful and prestigious venue.
 
The Role

As Events Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of events, leading the front-of-house team to ensure every event is delivered to the highest standards. From event set-up through to service delivery and event breakdown, you will be hands-on in all aspects of operations, ensuring guests receive an outstanding experience while supporting and motivating the wider team.
 
Key responsibilities include:
  • Supervising and leading the events operations team during weddings, private events and functions
  • Overseeing event set-up and ensuring all function spaces are presented to the highest standard
  • Managing front-of-house operations throughout events
  • Delivering high-quality food and beverage service, including bar operations
  • Acting as a key point of contact during events and resolving any operational issues efficiently
  • Supporting, training, and motivating team members to deliver exceptional service
  • Ensuring health & safety and venue standards are maintained at all times
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure seamless event delivery
The successful Events Supervisor will have:
  • Previous bar and waiting experience within an events, hospitality, hotel, wedding venue, or similar environment
  • Supervisory experience within weddings, events operations, banqueting, conferencing, or a similar hospitality setting
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • A hands-on approach with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • The flexibility to work around the demands of a busy events operation
Hours
  • 40 hours per week
  • Straight Shifts 
Salary & Benefits
  • £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience
