Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join their hospitality leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading people, delivering exceptional service, and helping drive the success of a busy food and beverage operation.

Working alongside the senior management team, you'll play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operation of multiple food and beverage outlets, ensuring consistently high standards of service, strong financial performance, and an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management team with the daily operation of a range of food and beverage outlets, including restaurant, bar, room service, conferences and events.
  • Help lead, motivate and develop a high-performing front of house team.
  • Ensure exceptional levels of customer service are delivered at all times.
  • Coordinate daily operational briefings and maintain effective communication across departments.
  • Monitor service standards, compliance, health and safety, and operational procedures.
  • Assist with stock management, labour scheduling and cost control to maximise profitability.
  • Support revenue growth through effective upselling, promotions and commercial awareness.
  • Coach and mentor team members, creating a positive and professional working environment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have previous management or supervisory experience within a quality hospitality environment, such as a 4/5 Star hotel, quality fresh food restaurant, bar or events venue.
You'll also bring:
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • The ability to control different areas of the food and beverage department whilst on shift.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A passion for delivering memorable customer experiences.
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of budgets, labour management and cost control.
