Claire began her career in Hospitality Recruitment in 2000, working for a small independent agency in Woking, Surrey. What started as a short-term plan soon became a lifelong passion — more than 20 years later, she remains dedicated to the industry.

In the early 2000s, Claire joined Blue Arrow, a well-known high street recruitment agency, where she first met Fire Group’s Sales Director, Rodney. She went on to spend the majority of her career managing a specialist Hospitality and Catering agency in Guildford, overseeing both temporary and permanent placements across Surrey and North Hampshire.

Claire’s recruitment ethos has always been centred on quality, reliability, and exceptional service. She takes pride in providing her clients with the best candidates and ensuring a first-class experience from start to finish. Since joining Fire Group in September 2022, she has continued to uphold these values, helping drive the company’s mission to be the leading recruitment agency in the South.

Like many members of the Fire Group team, Claire began her working life in hospitality, giving her a true understanding of the challenges and rewards of the sector. She knows that hospitality demands hard work, teamwork, and resilience — qualities that also define great recruiters. Despite the evolving demands of clients and candidates, Claire still finds immense satisfaction in matching the right person to the right role and seeing teams come together seamlessly.

Outside of work, Claire enjoys spending time with her energetic Cocker Spaniel, Harvey, who often doubles as the office welcome committee. During lockdown, she discovered a love for baking and now regularly makes speciality cakes for friends, family, and occasionally the Fire office! Since recently relocating to Southampton, she’s been enjoying exploring the local coastal routes, pubs, and restaurants, combining her love of good food and new adventures.
